Hi Mira-chan. I know, it's been too long. I am sorry for not being a very good
friend/pen-pal. I been on MT very little in the last several months. For mostly
a combination of reasons. For one, I just don't feel as interested in MT as I
used to be. Then there's the reality of just being very busy with life. I am
focusing more on my art, and that takes a lot of time. Between my two jobs and
doing artwork, there's not a lot left for MT. Now my online time is mostly spent
on my blog. However, I've also put a little effort into myspace, just to
increase my exposure, and DeviantART for the same reason.

All of them are now higher resolution, sharper (so more detail), and the colors

know, one thing that's supposed to help with nausea/upset stomach is ginger ale.
I don't know if you have that in Romania (it's kind of an American drink...),

Maybe after all your exams are done you'll be more relaxed and well! Just
remember that watching TV doesn't necessarily make you feel better :P... I know
it doesn't make me feel better. Often time it makes me feel worse! But what does
always seem to help, is taking a long walk in nature. So if you have a park or a
forest, that might work better than TV .

yes, he's might be a bit of a pervert. But once again, it's still open to a wide
variety of interpretations as to why exactly she's got that gin on his face
:P.
In terms of the lips issue, I do see what you're referring to. However, that was
intentional, and it it meant to be an implied line which only suggests the lower
lips presence. So I think it's okay ^_^. Glad you like the eyes. I intend to
update the image soon as well.

P.S.: I was able to get the image of Infidelity of Itsuki updated with a higher
quality version. The colors are more accurate now (not quite so washed out)
which I think makes a difference.

I was indeed debating on outlining the tear, and I deliberately used a thinner
line there than all the other black lines in the piece. Bu it could have
benefited from being a little more subtle probably ^_^. In terms of her mouth,
that's true it is a little small, but that is also the way it's presented in the
anime. In fact, I made it a little bit bigger than the reference image
:P.
This piece has actually sold already, which I was a little sad to see it go. I
got somewhat attached to her . But afterwards I was asked to paint another painting, still befitting the
theme of infidelity. So the new painting you can see right here. It's not as
strong as the first, but I still like it. You might too .

Simo-chan! My apologies for not writing back sooner, but we had been away to an
anime convention . It
was a lot of fun, and I even wrote up a report on it. If you're curious, you can

So thank you for writing me. It does seem like you have had a rough time lately
', but I hope that things are getting better. I'm glad you find your ID,
that's kind of important . As far
as exams go, no I am very glad I don't have to deal with that at all :P. I've
out of school for a few years now. I finished my studies in 2003 actually :P. So
does that make me old? Ha ha...
And about your computer... What operating system are you running? If it's Win
XP, then I think things will be a little easier to fix. I can tell you a couple
of solutions that might prove helpful in your situation. So, assuming that's the
OS you have, here's the first thing I recommend is to do...
Open your Start menu, and the navigate to
Programs/Accessories/System Tools/ and open System Restore. Since you're in a
different language probably I know the names will be different also, but I hope
you can figure it out. When you run System Restore, just create a new restore
point. This will backup much of your data, just in case you loose something
later.
After that, you will want to open your Internet Browser and go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
...but don't worry, this is a very reputable site. The company is called Trend
Micro, and they have an even better reputation than Norton Antivirus or McAffee.
I have used them for many years. So if you trust me, click on Scan Now. This
process will take a long time probably (2 - 8 hours depending on the speed of
your computer and internet connection). But it is very thorough and does a good
job. I will then outline some of its functions for you, and when you're ready
you can click on the button to proceed.
During it's scanning process, probably at the beginning, it will ask you to
install a few files. This is so that it can access your system to scan an remove
the viruses. I know that sounds a little suspicious, but I assure you it is not.
Whatever security boxes come up, I recommend that you approve/allow whatever it
wants to do. It will scan for a long time, and at the end it will ask you if you
want to remove the threats it finds. Obviously you do. But if you go through all
of this, I'm am confident that you should not have anymore virus problems. Any
problems with your system after that would be caused by something other than a
virus (like a hardware problem).
If for any reason something goes wrong, do not
worry. That's why you created the restore point at the beginning. With this, if
anything should change for the worse, you can restore your system to it's
original state before you began this process. So as you can see, there are
failsafes here to protect your system from deteriorating even further. I hope
that his will help, assuming you are still having problems.
Well, other than that there's a little bit of other news. I don't know if you
heard, but I already sold the painting Infidelity. I was sad to see her go,
because I really liked the piece. But after that the gallery asked me for
another painting which I had to paint on short notice. I did get it done though,
and it's even up on MT already. You can see that piece here. I don't think it's
quite as good as the first, but I still like it . I
hope you do to :P.

Yes indeed, the gallery I am in right now is called ERA, and I have already
started on another collaborative/group project with them. I'll be posting about
it on my blog when I have anything to show for it . I
didn't really mind selling the piece that much, I just wasn't expecting it to
happen so quickly. Caught me by surprise .

it was the real thing for a moment! I have had this AMV idea in my head for a

I'm sorry to say that when I
painted this piece (and others) I was filled with sadness, and so this is what
came out. I am often times emotionally connected to my work. This is also
evident in my painting called Uyoku.
Here again, however, you can see that I have been exploring the impact that the
anime-style eye has. I will likely be creating more paintings of this type to
further deconstruct the shapes within anime eyes. But thank you again for all of
your great comments and all of the faves, as well the fav on my Elf painting.
For a long time, people didn't look at my paintings on MT very much at all. I am
happy to see that changing. Though I wonder how much of that is due to my
spamming , ha ha...

I hear ya. I too have been fortunate enough to not

Thanks for writing back ^_^. No, of course I wasn't suggesting you put him on a black bg, as I do understand your idea of keeping the "White Cloud" idea going. I was just thinking that it would be a stronger piece if there was more contrast, though not necessarily a lot of contrast. If you were to vector the image, that might do the trick.
Ah, so you did vector the characters. Nice work. See, you did such a good job that I couldn't tell the difference between your vector and the original. Well done!

The convention was awesome, and now we are planning a little cosplay picnic with some of the people who went to it. So that's pretty exciting

I know, right? We have vowed to not wait as long to see each other again. Some of them are coming to our town in a month or so. But it's pretty hard when you live in different places that are about three hours worth of driving apart. I suppose that's not that far, but it is a bit of an expense. Especially with the way gas prices are these days.

In terms of the lips issue, I do see what you're referring to. However, that was intentional, and it it meant to be an implied line which only suggests the lower lips presence. So I think it's okay ^_^. Glad you like the eyes. I intend to update the image soon as well.

P.S.: I was able to get the image of Infidelity of Itsuki updated with a higher quality version. The colors are more accurate now (not quite so washed out) which I think makes a difference.

I was indeed debating on outlining the tear, and I deliberately used a thinner line there than all the other black lines in the piece. Bu it could have benefited from being a little more subtle probably ^_^. In terms of her mouth, that's true it is a little small, but that is also the way it's presented in the anime. In fact, I made it a little bit bigger than the reference image :P.
This piece has actually sold already, which I was a little sad to see it go. I got somewhat attached to her
. But afterwards I was asked to paint another painting, still befitting the
theme of infidelity. So the new painting you can see right here. It's not as
strong as the first, but I still like it. You might too 
.

So thank you for writing me. It does seem like you have had a rough time lately
', but I hope that things are getting better. I'm glad you find your ID,
that's kind of important 
. As far
as exams go, no I am very glad I don't have to deal with that at all :P. I've
out of school for a few years now. I finished my studies in 2003 actually :P. So
does that make me old? Ha ha...
And about your computer... What operating system are you running? If it's Win XP, then I think things will be a little easier to fix. I can tell you a couple of solutions that might prove helpful in your situation. So, assuming that's the OS you have, here's the first thing I recommend is to do...
Open your Start menu, and the navigate to Programs/Accessories/System Tools/ and open System Restore. Since you're in a different language probably I know the names will be different also, but I hope you can figure it out. When you run System Restore, just create a new restore point. This will backup much of your data, just in case you loose something later.
After that, you will want to open your Internet Browser and go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ ...but don't worry, this is a very reputable site. The company is called Trend Micro, and they have an even better reputation than Norton Antivirus or McAffee. I have used them for many years. So if you trust me, click on Scan Now. This process will take a long time probably (2 - 8 hours depending on the speed of your computer and internet connection). But it is very thorough and does a good job. I will then outline some of its functions for you, and when you're ready you can click on the button to proceed.
During it's scanning process, probably at the beginning, it will ask you to install a few files. This is so that it can access your system to scan an remove the viruses. I know that sounds a little suspicious, but I assure you it is not. Whatever security boxes come up, I recommend that you approve/allow whatever it wants to do. It will scan for a long time, and at the end it will ask you if you want to remove the threats it finds. Obviously you do. But if you go through all of this, I'm am confident that you should not have anymore virus problems. Any problems with your system after that would be caused by something other than a virus (like a hardware problem).
If for any reason something goes wrong, do not worry. That's why you created the restore point at the beginning. With this, if anything should change for the worse, you can restore your system to it's original state before you began this process. So as you can see, there are failsafes here to protect your system from deteriorating even further. I hope that his will help, assuming you are still having problems.
Well, other than that there's a little bit of other news. I don't know if you heard, but I already sold the painting Infidelity. I was sad to see her go, because I really liked the piece. But after that the gallery asked me for another painting which I had to paint on short notice. I did get it done though, and it's even up on MT already. You can see that piece here. I don't think it's quite as good as the first, but I still like it
. I

I am happy that I was able to create so many pieces that you find enjoyable
. I do
think that eyes in anime have the biggest impact, and I am indeed fascinated by
them.
I'm sorry to say that when I painted this piece (and others) I was filled with sadness, and so this is what came out. I am often times emotionally connected to my work. This is also evident in my painting called Uyoku.
Here again, however, you can see that I have been exploring the impact that the anime-style eye has. I will likely be creating more paintings of this type to further deconstruct the shapes within anime eyes. But thank you again for all of your great comments and all of the faves, as well the fav on my Elf painting. For a long time, people didn't look at my paintings on MT very much at all. I am happy to see that changing. Though I wonder how much of that is due to my spamming

I hear ya. I too have been fortunate enough to not see any of the ads. I have also proposed a few changes to MT, bringing the forth to the mods, and they seem receptive. I don't know if or when they may be put in place though.

First, I don't believe imagination is something what you lack. Not if you have had it before. Once you have developed it, it stays with you forever. Sometimes we just forget how to access it :P.
Yes, I suppose sometimes I focus too much on sadness. But it's just such a powerful emotion, don't you think? I suppose that I tend to remember the sad things more vividly sometimes, but that's just my depressing tendencies, ha ha
